Sohbat/Painda Dera Khyber Restaurant Islamabad - Food Review 1

Before reviewing Food and restaurant i would like to explain what is sohbat/painda because mostly people are not familiar with this dish.

Sohbat/Painda is a traditional Dish of  Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province, the areas where it is common is LakyMarwat, Bannu and D.I.K (Dera Ismail Khan) and call it as sohbat or painda. It is prepared with chicken or beef stock and pieces of their traditional bread and this bread is socked in the chicken or beef stock. It is mostly served with salad.

Well this recipe is not common in Islamabad but the only restaurant which provide this recipe with original taste is Dera Khyber Restaurant located G11 Markaz Islamabad.

I love to eat traditional food that's why i searched for the restaurant who provide sohbat/painda in Islamabad and i found Dera Khyber restaurant. In my last visit to Dera Khyber I tasted Sohbat/Painda it was very delicious. Combination of bread and gravy were perfect that's why it was delicious and juicy. Although their sitting environment was not good (not good for families) but the thing they have is novelty food and cheap in prices. I would recommend you to go and taste their food (specially sohbat/painda).
