Ice Cream Falooda (Fresco Sweets) - Food Review 3

Falooda is a popular desert came with many Muslims merchants that settled in India. The present form of falooda was developed by Mughal empire and spread with its many conquests. Muslim rulers who succeeded from Mughals patronized the dessert with their own adaption.

Falooda is a thick, cold beverage/dessert. It is usually prepared by cooking congealed milk or khoya with milk for hours and hours until the mixture is thick; it is then left cool and then ideally served with arrowroot or wheat starch vermicelli and a sweet flavored syrup.

Food Review :
Falooda is my favorite desert. It is not common in Islamabad that's why it was difficult for me to find good falooda point in Islamabad. But I found Fresco Sweets in Blue Area Islamabad and tasted their best Ice Cream Falooda. Although this falooda was filled with different ingredients (Shahskay) but it was tasty. The cup/glass was filled with two ice cream scoops, jelly, noodles, fruit mix, chopped dry fruits and flavored syrup. Fruit mix and jelly was adding good taste in the falooda. This Falooda Point (Fresco Sweets) was also good and they had good sitting environment and services.

Place:- Fresco sweets Blue Area, Islamabad.
Price:-130

Rating:-
Falooda:- 9/10 .
